2 questions · 2,500 points

Use every number card once and the operations allowed for its level to get as close to the target as possible. Joining digits into a larger number is not allowed.

  1. Use four cards to reach a two-digit target in 90 seconds for up to 1,000 points. Use five cards to reach a three-digit target in 120 seconds for up to 1,500 points.
  2. The rule checker follows your equation as you type. A valid exact answer finishes the question automatically. You can also submit a valid near-target answer for partial credit.
  3. When time runs out, your latest saved valid expression is submitted. An invalid or empty expression scores 0.
  4. The cards stop spinning first. The target appears one second later and the timer starts. The second question opens automatically.
  5. After a puzzle opens, its clock keeps running when you switch tabs. Daily attempts resume after reload with the same clock; practice resets on reload. Before reveal, the game waits until you are back.
  6. Your first official result counts toward your account score once. Replay today’s quest for free until midnight (GMT+7). Each past date costs 20 Thunder to unlock for unlimited practice.

Basic allows +, −, ×, ÷ and parentheses. Level 1 adds powers. Level 2 adds square roots and roots with a positive integer index. Level 3 adds factorials and summation (Σ). Use up to one level of roots at Level 2 or two at Level 3. In a sum, use i up to twice in the summand. Use positive integer bounds in ascending order. The sum must be positive. Another sum may appear in the bounds only. Use subtraction between terms and finish with a nonnegative whole number.

How scoring works

A = max(0, 1 − |answer − target| / target)

round(maximum × A² × [0.9 + 0.1 × (1 − elapsed / limit)])

Accuracy is shown separately. A perfect answer scores between 90% and 100% of the maximum, depending on speed.
